Pecan Bayou Cattle is grateful to have sold Pecan Bayou Russ 8011 to a ranch north of Fort Worth, Texas.   This bull is super docile.  He has been fertility tested with a birth weight of 74 lbs.  He is smooth-sided, square-hipped, and long-bodied.  He ranks in the top 2% in marbling and $G, top 10%  milk, top 15% in $B and calving ease direct, top 20% birth weight, top 30% Ribeye, and $EN for Cow Energy.  This Angus bull combines carcass and maternal genetics.  His sire is our herd sire Absolute. His dam is one of our foundation dams, Chair Rock Progress 3063, is very docile with a great udder.  She stems from marbling bull GAR Progress and rib eye bull Summitcrest Complete.His sire is our Absolute herd sire, who absolutely puts his stamp on his calves, adding length of body and heavy muscling, and Russ is one of his best sons.   Our Absolute herd sire stems from KCF Bennett Absolute, who stems from Wulffs EXT, and SAV Final Answer, who are known for length of body, and calving ease with heavy growth genetics.   Absolute’s maternal grand sire was GAR Ingenuity, with great carcass genetics.  Here’s a link to his AAA Registration page AAA 19173020.
